Knowledge Base Manufacturing, an event organized by Cantier Systems and CITIC Telecom was hosted on the 16th of May, at SNEF Singapore. The focus of the event was to discuss the latest manufacturing solutions and best practices to help organizations on to the road of digital innovations and implementations. Digital transformation experts were invited as resource speakers and is comprised of different representatives from companies like Cantier, CITIC Telecom, Epicor, and 360 Global Consulting.

After the registration, the event kick-started with a welcome message followed by Mr. Prabakar Selvam, CEO and Founder of Cantier Systems. Mr. Selvam introduced the Cantier MES, its key benefits and later on discussed its reports and overall equipment effectiveness.

Keynote speaker, Mr. Chung Cher Tee, Country Manager of Epicor, narrated about “Closing the Gap between Traditional Manufacturing and Knowledge Base Manufacturing”. Mr. Steven Low, CEO and Founder of 360 Global Consulting, spoke about “Application of Business Analytics to Enhance Growth and Profitability”.

Another keynote speaker, Mr. Low Kum Seng, Deputy Director, Product Marketing of CITIC Telecom, elaborated on “Easing the Road to Digital Transformation” by presenting a survey and cases. Lastly, Ms. Jocelyn Lim, Senior Project Manager at SNEF, discussed about SAPPHIRE and Consultancy Funding.

The event ended with a tea break and subsequently followed by a panel discussion where the panel speakers and the audience were able to interact and discuss ideas with each other.
